Jyothi has been practicing at numerous veterinary hospitals in Pennsylvania and Delaware for the past 10 years. She received her veterinary degree from India and completed her clinical training at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed the Ultrasound certification from Ohio State University, Introductory Acupuncture course of Chi Institute and high volume spay neuter training at the Humane Alliance in NC. She has special interests in Dermatology, Clinical Pathology, Nutrition, Translational Medicine and Alternative Medicine. She enjoys working for local shelters and rescue groups and has been actively involved with ACCT Philly, PAWS, Faithful Friends Animal shelter and Home At Last rescue group. She is the Secretary of Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine (DVAVM) and Treasurer of American Association of Veterinarians of Indian Origin (AAVIO). She is also a member of the AVMA.
Outside of her interests in veterinary medicine, she likes to volunteer at charity organizations. She also enjoys Indian classical dancing, oil painting, biking and spending time with her family consisting of her husband, two boys and a Swiss Mountain Dog named Leo.
